Your Tasks
Perform electrical wiring tasks on a variety of test rigs integrating a variety of sensors
Perform electrical installation and wiring of building facilities
Perform control cabinet and test system assembly and wiring
Perform electrical test system design work that primarily leverages off the shelf industrial components, especially typical DIN rail mounted electronic control equipment, primarily with 24V systems
Perform light fabrication and machining using common hand and power tools
Review electrical drawings, make corrections when required



Your Qualifications
Valid electrical license
2+ year work experience in electrical control systems or electronics
Exposure to common sensors, transducers and actuators
Experience with test and troubleshooting equipment, e.g. mulstimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments hardware is highly regarded
Practical, hands on experience with electrical or mechanical projects
Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
Willingness to travel across all our RFA's sites

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as Test and Launch Operations Engineer (f/m/d). You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us. This position will be based in Sweden or the UK.
Description
Serve as on-console test and flight controllers during launch and test events
Test integrated rocket hardware to determine acceptability for flight
Take ownership of entire life-cycle of test systems and articles for the RFA ONE Launcher
Integration, troubleshooting and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic
systems
Perform data reviews to evaluate the performance of launch/test article and stand systems (software,
fluid, structural, thermal, electrical).
Find innovative ways to create, review, and optimize test & launch processes/procedures to increase
test system capability and cadence.
Manage the execution of projects within extremely short timelines
Align resources to accomplish key objectives, assign clear accountability for important objectives
Use various testing, analysis, modelling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system
performance
Create and maintain technical documentation



Qualifications
?Higher education in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Willingness to travel and work flexibly around RFAs test and launch sites
Excellent understanding of staged-combustion liquid rocket engines and launch vehicles
Excellent knowledge of physics, fluid dynamics, engineering materials and manufacturing processes
Experience with analytical data review tools and numerical methods to solve real world problems (Git, NI
LabVIEW, MS Office)
Experience with instrumentation: pressure, temperature, piezoelectric, strain gauge, load cells,
flowmeters
Hands-on experience in test operations preferably for propulsion projects
Fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
Self-independent, a structured way of working and committed to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Visa mindre
