Vi söker dig som har en teknisk utbildning eller har förvärvat likvärdig erfarenhet genom arbete i tekniskt orienterade miljöer. För att lyckas i rollen behöver du känna dig trygg i att förstå och arbeta med tekniska system, men du behöver inte vara ingenjör.

Qualification

Arbetsuppgifter
Vi söker i första hand en ingenjör som ska arbeta med:
Design och utveckling av högpresterande SMPS och andra analoga kretsar
Test av elektronik för vakuummiljö
Test och verifiering av prototypkretsar
EMC-testning och verifiering

Processen från idé till färdigt instrument genomförs huvudsakligen vid IRF och du kommer att ha en viktig roll under hela projektets livslängd. Projekten innebär vanligtvis internationella samarbeten, vilket kan innebära både inrikes- och utrikesresor. Framtagande av teknisk dokumentation är en viktig del av arbetet, liksom att muntligt kunna kommunicera resultatet av arbetet.
Kvalifikationer
Civilingenjörsutbildning med inriktning mot elektronik eller högskoleingenjörsutbildning med ytterligare yrkeserfarenhet som arbetsgivaren bedömer som relevant.
Följande kunskaper krävs:
Grundläggande kretskonstruktion, både analog och digital.
Systemdesign av elektronik.
PCB design och layout.
Test och verifiering av prototyper och PCB-designer.
Handhavande av grundläggande elektronisk bänkutrustning, dvs. oscilloskop, nätaggregat, DMM, spektrumanalysatorer.

Följande kunskaper anses vara meriterande:
SMPS-design, speciellt med ”flyback” och ”forward” arkitektur.
SPICE-simulering och verifiering, gärna specifikt för SMPS.
EMC kunskap och erfarenhet.
Kunskaper om PCB-tillverkning och teknik.
Parasitiska effekter i kretsar och begränsningar i komponenter.
Kunskaper inom design av elektronik för vakuum och tuffa miljöer (strålning, temperatur, vibrationer).

På grund av de omfattande internationella kontakterna är det viktigt att du kan uttrycka dig mycket väl i tal och skrift på engelska.
Arbetet medför höga krav på självständighet, noggrannhet, initiativförmåga och förmåga att lösa problem inom många teknikområden. God förmåga att samarbeta inom arbetsgruppen såväl som med externa parter är viktigt. Stor vikt kommer att läggas vid personlig lämplighet.

Your role
As Ventilation Specialist you will lead efforts aiming for development or adoption of new technologies, new levels of automation, control, and systems for ventilation. You will evaluate emerging and existing technologies and systems, providing feedback and improvement suggestions for our operations as well as producing guidelines and recommendations for the future based on your work.
In your work, you must consider the big picture, including synergies with other areas of operation within the company. You work seamlessly in co-operation with consultants, universities, equipment and instrument manufacturers, and other mining companies as required.

What you bring
We are looking for someone who is technically strong, with good leadership qualities and who likes to build trusting relations across the workplace. Your leadership and communication skills will enable your efforts in leading major ventilation research and development projects, expected to include consultant, university, and industry co-operation.
We are looking for someone with minimum of 5 years in a ventilation related position within the mining industry. Overall, industry experience in mine ventilation is preferred over academic experience. Advanced ventilation modelling experience, preferably with Ventsim, is required. Experience in mine ventilation automation and control related work or projects, like ventilation-on-demand applications, is also required. CFD modelling and Deswik skills are considered highly beneficial.
· A good understanding of cave mining, especially sublevel and block caving, is seen beneficial
· M.Sc. level or higher education in mining is required. An emphasis, additional, or continued education in mine ventilation and ventilation research experience are considered highly beneficial
· Have a good ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
· Have good communication skills and proficiency in English, both spoken and written
· A driver's license (Swedish B-class minimum) is a requirement for all positions at LKAB

Job description
Your main area of responsibility will be to develop, design, manufacture and test electronics for space instruments. Production of technical documentation is an important part of the work, as well as being able to verbally communicate the results of the work. We are primarily seeking an engineer with experience in analogue electronics, power systems and EMC.
The process from idea to a finished instrument is mainly carried out at IRF and you will immediately see the results of your work. Many of the work task include development of prototypes. Projects usually involve international collaborations, which can involve both domestic and international travels.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering with a focus on electronics, or other equivalent competence that the employer assesses to be equivalent. Specialization in space technology is an advantage.
Experience in the development and testing of analogue electronics systems (e.g. amplifiers and power supplies) for space or aerospace applications, as well as experience in the field of EMC, is highly valued.
Experience in the construction of digital systems is also meritorious, as well knowledge in space technology. Due to the extensive international contacts, it is important that you can express yourself very well in spoken and written English.
The work entails high demands on independence, accuracy, initiative and the ability to solve problems in many technical areas. Ability to collaborate within the work group as well as with external parties is a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Responsibilities
As an Operations Coordinator you will work in close collaboration with our customers and coordinate activities for rocket motor tests, such as planning of hot-fire tests and other hazardous tests conducted at the vertical test stands. The planning includes coordination with other activities at Esrange Space Center and cooperation with the range safety team. You will be the customer point of contact, and in addition to above, also be responsible of providing add-on services, create reports and basis for invoicing in scope of the customer contracts. You will work together with the team and other Operations Coordinators.

Qualifications

Swedish Institute of Space Physics is looking for a test engineer for electrical tests of the instrument PEP for the JUICE mission.
Applicants are invited for a temporal position to perform electrical and functional tests of Particle Environment Package (PEP) for the ESA JUICE mission during a test campaign performed by European Space Operation Center (ESOC), Darmstadt, Germany.
Tasks:
The task is to monitor and control of the system verification test of the JUICE spacecraft.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have knowledge of the PEP hardware, PEP Ground Support Equipment, and PEP functional tests procedures as well as general knowledge of the space hardware testing.
The position is for 3 days in October 2022. Exact dates are subject of schedule changes. The test is performed in Darmstadt, Germany.

Inom forskningsprogrammet Solsystemets fysik och rymdteknik utforskar vi solsystemet. Gruppen består av forskare och ingenjörer med olika specialistkompetenser. Vi utvecklar instrument för nationella och internationella vetenskapliga satelliter tillsammans med ESA, NASA och andra större rymdorganisationer.

För närvarande leder programmet ett stort internationellt konsortium som har utvecklat och nyligen levererat instrument till den europeiska rymdorganisationen ESA:s satellit JUICE (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer), som under de kommande tio åren kommer att utforska Jupiter och dess månar.
Din uppgift blir att utveckla, konstruera, tillverka och testa elektroniska och elektromekaniska system för rymdinstrument. Vi söker i första hand en ingenjör med erfarenhet av analog elektronik, kraftsystem och EMC.
Processen från idé till ett färdigt instrument utförs huvudsakligen vid IRF och uppgifterna är utmanande, utvecklande och varierade. Framställning av teknisk dokumentation är en viktig del av arbetet, såväl som att muntligen kunna kommunicera resultaten av arbetet. Alla projekt innebär internationella samarbeten, vilket innebär både inrikes- och utrikes resor.
Kvalifikationer
Civilingenjörsutbildning med inriktning mot elektronik, eller annan motsvarande kompetens som arbetsgivaren bedömer som likvärdig. Specialisering inom rymdteknik är meriterande.
Erfarenhet av utveckling och testning av analoga elektroniksystem (t.ex. förstärkare och kraftaggregat) för rymd- eller flygapplikationer, såväl som erfarenhet inom området EMC, värderas högt. Erfarenhet av konstruktion av digitala system är också meriterande, såväl som kunskap inom rymdteknik. På grund av de omfattande internationella kontakterna är det viktigt att du kan uttrycka dig mycket väl i tal och skrift på engelska.
Arbetet medför höga krav på självständighet, noggrannhet, initiativförmåga och förmåga att lösa problem inom många teknikområden. Förmåga att samarbeta inom arbetsgruppen såväl som med externa parter är ett krav. Stor vikt kommer att läggas vid personlig lämplighet.
Tjänsten är en tillsvidareanställning med placering vid huvudkontoret i Kiruna. Tillträde enligt överenskommelse.

Job description

Now there is a unique opportunity for you to be part of the preparation and operation of the new satellite launcher site and the new rocket motor test capabilities currently under construction.

Responsibilities
As an Operations Coordinator you will work in close collaboration with our customers and coordinate activities for rocket motor tests, such as planning of hot-fire tests and other hazardous tests conducted at the vertical test stands. The planning includes coordination with other activities at Esrange Space Center and cooperation with the range safety team. You will be the customer point of contact, and in addition to above, also be responsible of providing add-on services, create reports and basis for invoicing in scope of the customer contracts. You will work together with the team and other Operations Coordinators.

Qualifications
To enjoy the role as Operations Coordinator, you are a team player with good organizational skills and a genuine interest for space activities. You have good knowledge in English and appreciate taking an active role in the team. We believe you have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Any managerial experience is seen as a benefit.
